Refund policy

At Helma ART, I value your satisfaction with my artwork and prints. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, I am here to assist you in the return and refund process. Please review the following guidelines:

1. Returns
1.1. Eligibility: We accept returns within 30 days from the date of delivery. To be eligible for a return, the item must be in its original condition, undamaged, and in its original packaging.
1.2. Communication: Prior to returning the item, please send an email to contact@helma.is to initiate the return process. We will provide you with further instructions and a return authorization if required.
1.3. Shipping: You are responsible for the return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a defective product. We recommend using a tracked shipping service to ensure safe delivery, as we cannot guarantee refunds for items that are lost or damaged in transit.

2. Refunds
2.1. Inspection: Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it for any damages or signs of use. If the item is deemed to be in its original condition, we will proceed with the refund process.
2.2. Refund Method: Refunds will be issued using the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow 1-10 business days for the refund to be processed and reflected in your account.

3. Non-eligible Items
3.1. Custom or Personalized Items: Unfortunately, we do not accept returns or offer refunds on custom-made or personalized artwork and prints unless they arrive damaged or defective. We encourage you to review and confirm all specifications before placing a custom order.

4. Damaged or Defective Items
4.1. Reporting: In the rare event that your artwork or print arrives damaged or defective, please notify us within 2 days of receiving the item. Include detailed photographs showing the damage or defect, along with your order details.4.2. Resolution: We will assess the situation and, depending on the circumstances, offer a replacement or issue a refund for the damaged or defective item.
